Daisy-Chain Productions specializes in Care and residential home entertainment. Every resident deserved to be taken on a journey, a journey through music to spark as many memories of great times as possible. We put their minds at ease by chatting, introducing ourselves and bringing out their best; even if be a cheeky smile or even a dance. All Daisy-Chain Productions singers have been on theatre contracts around the world, worked at Disneyland and even on Cruise ships to name a few! You're guaranteed amazing singers every time! From solo cabarets to musical shows; your residents will be tapping their feet, singing along and even dancing with us. We are proud to be so much more than 'Care home entertainers' We care so much about each resident individually and will offer the microphone for all to sing along or inviting your more able residents to join us in the show! Beware staff member may get roped in too!
Music is so powerful to Dementia and other mental health sufferers that we we make that moment that they remember the most special moment for all.
We also visit retirement villages and sheltered housing and can adapt each show to how able our audiences are.
Although we are based in Bristol; we travel logistically all over England and Wales, see our show list below and note we also offer cabarets and shows throughout the year as well as custom shows just for you!

"Thankyou so much for singing at the Lodge yesterday. My Dad had a lovely birthday, made all the nicer that it was a surprise for him that you were there- I think he was planning to have a quiet afternoon ! He loves to sing, and dance when possible, so your performance was perfect for him, and really made his day. I know many of the residents don't seem to be paying attention, but for many of them music is very important, and you make the whole thing go with a swing."

This was a fantastic evening our residents had a great time. Superb interaction with our residents brilliant entertainers. Have re booked a show for December and for next year. Come highly recommended from us.

We still have limited availability for our 2016 shows and we are so excited to be taking bookings for our 2017 shows.
Our shows are 1 hour in duration with no interval unless requested. Your team will arrive 20-30 mins prior to the start time of the show to set up their equipment, scenery and of course change into their dazzling costumes. Throughout your show we welcome lots of pictures to be taken and will stick around after the show for more if you feel you haven't quite got the picture you wanted! These are great to display around your home on your events noticeboard! We also would love to see your pictures, so please feel free to send them over! - you never know you may be published on our website!

Q Can I book your care home shows for any other venue?
A Yes we also take these shows elsewhere, we alter these shows slightly to appeal to other audiences. See our Birthdays & other events page.
Q How much performance space do you need? - Our care home is quite small.
A We bring a Backdrop curtain that is 6ft' tall and 6ft' wide. We also need room to manoeuvre on and off 'stage' and perform in front - A minimum of 2.5 metres in front and 3metres across.
Q Do you require payment upfront?
A No, not at all, we take payment per show on the day of visit or up to 30 days thereafter via cash, cheque or BAC's.
Q How long does the show last?
A Each show is 1 hour in duration, we arrive a minimum of 20 minutes before our show and stay a little after to have a chin wag with your residents before we leave too!
Q Can I read any reviews from care homes who have booked you previously?

Daisy-Chain Productions do not look upon their shows as simply music but of each performance as a form of music therapy as well as being highly entertaining. Music is a fantastic way to stimulate the mind and refresh memories, all be it perhaps short term, but at that moment in time our music and song choices trigger something within most residents and cause reactions that have surprised us all but in particuLarly the staff. We have had residents get out of their chair freely and dance along with our music and singing, having been told after our performance that this resident hasn't actually weight bared in many years and can't even walk! This alone proves that music is a magical force and so important in the activity schedule for care, residential, nursing and sheltered housing. For this reason and many other situations we have seen, we are proud to provide a fantastic service with professional singers, dancers, actors and performers but above all, the extra's that we provide without giving it a second thought make us more than just visiting entertainers.
